The summer started off with a bang! Hill Country Atelier received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS on June 1. This means tax-deductible donations can be made directly to HCA. In fact, we've already received generous donations, and this is what made our move to an independent location and program expansion possible.
We also found a beautiful permanent home nestled along the banks of the Guadalupe River in the heart of historic downtown Kerrville. We couldn't be more thrilled with the location and the views! Our new studios include a bank of windows overlooking the river. We are next door to the renovated Arcadia Theater and across the street from numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and on the same block as Kerr Arts & Cultural Center (KACC).
Our new address is 741 Water Street, Suite 104, Kerrville, TX 78028.
We'll begin our Fall term on Monday, September 25th at Water Street in another beautiful suite with gorgeous views. This will be our studio setting while the landlord builds out Suite 104 according to Holly's design.
We'll keep you updated with the progress on the build-out, which should be finished by year-end. In the new year, we're going to celebrate with a big party and you will be invited!
