Core Atelier Program

Many art schools and university programs no longer offer rigorous skills-based instruction. Our Atelier Program has an over 500-year history in realistic representation in drawing and painting.

Classes 

We also offer ongoing classes at Texas Hill Country Atelier.

 

We are currently offering a three-part Landscape series taught by award-winning artist Roger Parsons.  a variety of classes throughout the year.

 

You do not have to be a student in the Atelier Program to register for a class.

Workshops

We also offer workshops, public talks and demos by nationally recognized artists such as Tenaya Sims of Georgetown Atelier and Maureen Hyde, formerly of the Florence Art Academy.

​

Our workshops are open to all who wish to improve their artistic skill. 

Open Studio Life Drawing

Artists have drawn and painted from live models for over 2,000 years. And for good reason! Drawing from life is the best way to "learn to see" and hone your ability to draw and paint anything!

Come join us on Saturdays as we practice this age-old approach. You do not have to be a student in the Atelier to join in, all are welcome! Click the button for more information.
